I’ve been around a while, under a variety of handles and domain names. The last one was a little hard to spell, so I figured that having one that repeats the last two characters was an improvement. At least it’s composed of real English words (unless your accent treats “lore” and “law” as homophonic.
Still, I like the idea of Lore Wanderer. I started my reading career in the fantasy genre, where “lore” is an essential part of world building, and one of my favourite things to do in games is explore. Thus, Lore Wanderer.
That’s how I named my Twitch channel, anyway. When we launched the Podculture Oz podcast, and started promoting the hosts, I thought it was a good idea to make it easier to pronounce and spell my handle. Thus, Lore Wanderer.
Naturally, somebody had already taken that on Twitter, but you get my drift. At least the domain name wasn’t claimed.
So Hello, World (again). Let’s talk about genre fiction and video games (they are both escapist and meaningful).
And cats. This is the Internet, after all.
